Additional Information

Will you come speak at my event?

It depends on your budget. Unfortunately I no longer speak in exchange for flight + hotel alone. If you have a budget for speakers please feel free to reach out with your dates. My calendar books up fast, so the earlier you reach out the better.

Different types of talks I do include:
  • Book club sessions (connected with Kill It With Fire)
  • Workshops of system modeling
  • Keynotes and technical talks

Can we hire you?

I write code every day but I do it in Go and on an SMT compiler I've been working on for two years now 😉  Professionally I focus most of my time and energy these days training engineering teams and doing a certain amount of advising on legacy modernization and system safety. If you have a project that looks like that I would be happy to chat about it.

What types of technology do you have experience with?

Most of my career has focused on infrastructure, specifically data processing applications and pipelines. My legacy modernization work has given me the opportunity to scrub in on a wide variety of different types of technology and I have a network of similar legacy modernization folk with different specializations. If I can't make heads or tails of your computer system I will refer you to someone who can.

Currently I've also being doing a lot of work around AI and software safety, exploring different ways of verifying and modeling systems.
